Our mun was diagnosed five months ago with Alzheimers dementia, and dad has recently had a a stroke and has to go into a care home. Mums short term
memory is very bad and she can’t retain information for more than about five minutes. It’s been a learning curve, all of it from having to apply for
guardianship at the courts which takes forever, to getting
involved with doctors and other professionals on a daily basis. Were just about to start home
help with a good care support organisation but mum is so very set against any help, and we
can see her being an issue with the carer. I am not sure how I am going to deal with it if she wont let them touch her or do anything for her, has anyone else had this problem if so can you give me any advice please
