(Just a quick back drop on this fund raising event, Our dear friend Brian who you may know from emails we have sent to you was hit by cancer 3 times (some people don't recover from 1 thankfully he has recovered thanks to the help of Macmillan Cancer Support, so he has 1st hand experience and from our conversations it certainly is not something you wish on anyone but would certainly hope that everyone can survive it and that requires more research, development and funding).

Do read Brian's message below and hopefully you can help.

The title We're All In This Thing Together, is befitting, because the act of the organisers and team is selfless.

The phrase 'Charity begins at home', should not end there. Our goal is to get the community to come together to do a good deed to support those and their loved ones in need.

WE, ALL, have been touched by cancer, one way or the other. And if you haven't been touched, one day it could be you who gets diagnosed with a form of cancer and most likely be referred to Macmillan Cancer Support, the same organisation we are trying to support, to support us and others.

If we want to survive with our health and wealth? We have to better collaborate.

Remember, this is not a late-night event. So, you will still have time to 'hol-a-fresh' and not be tired for work the next day.
