(Just a quick back drop on this fund raising event, Our dear friend Brian who you may know from emails we have sent to you was hit by cancer 3 times (some people don't recover from 1 thankfully he has recovered thanks to the help of Macmillan Cancer Support, so he has 1st hand experience and from our conversations it certainly is not something you wish on anyone but would certainly hope that everyone can survive it and that requires more research, development and funding).

Cancer continues to wreak havoc in people’s lives. Cancer is also on the increase, and deaths have increased. Myself, and friends, have come together to organise a fundraising charity day/evening party called We're All In This Thing Together, to be held on Sunday 17th March 2024, at the luxurious Riverside Venue. Time 4pm-11pm. This charity event is to help those affected by cancer and their loved ones too. I have decided to donate funds, 100% raised to Macmillan Cancer Support.

There's an African saying “it takes a village to raise a child." Well, I'm pleading with you/everyone/ the community to come together and support this worthy cause, as some of us has, is and in the future could benefit from support from Macmillan Cancer Support.

Please, please do not dismiss this message and the 2 attached flyers. I once thought I was exempt from cancer and how wrong I was, as I was diagnosed with cancer 3 times. I was lucky as my wife and family/friends have been there for me every step of the way, but others are not so fortunate. So, please come out (not late on 17th March) to support those in need of our help.
