PART ONE – MAIN SERVICE
(10:30 am arrival (for prompt start at 11 am)

The Service provides the opportunity, after the official Windrush Day, to publicly acknowledge and to celebrate the significant contribution, the Windrush Generation and their descendants have made to rebuilding Britain after the Second World War.

PART TWO – DINNER and CONVERSATIONS
(1 pm to 4pm)

The Dinner and Conversation provides for families and groups of friends, in the Modern Black Community (MBC) and friends, to talk about:

1) their extended family’s experiences in the UK;
2) the changes in the Modern Black Community since 1948; and
3) hopes for the future
