Save for Later
Join us at the 5th annual Out of Africa Charity Ball on Saturday 25 November 2017 at the Windsor Ballroom, Hilton Hotel, Reading. This vibrant and very popular gala dinner brings Africa to the heart of Berkshire, you could call it ‘Africa-on-Thames’.
Prepare to be taken on a journey of Africa, immersing yourself in its diverse and lively culture. Feel the buzz, celebrate the work that our charity Creating Better Futures does, and discover how you could create better futures with us.
You will enjoy live African entertainment by the talented performers, arts & crafts, charity auction, raffle and more; all in a celebration of the joy and hope that comes out of Africa. Our keynote speakers will inspire you with their first-hand experience of volunteering in rural Zimbabwean schools with Creating Better Futures.
The money raised at this unique gala dinner will go towards providing education, food, water and resources for orphans and vulnerable children. We currently support 2 218 children at 9 different primary and secondary schools. 177 of them are sponsored but we have hundreds of children on our waiting list for sponsors. With your support at the ball, we can give the gift of education to many more children in need. Your ticket could help to feed a class of 50 children for one whole month.
By Supporting Creating Better Futures, your donation could not only change lives but it will go a long way. Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers in the UK and Zimbabwe who donate their time and expertise daily. We have been blessed with rent-free office space in Reading. This means that 92% of every £1 donation goes directly towards supporting children in need of your help. Why not come along to the ball and witness how our small and passionate team is making a difference, one child at a time.
Tickets sell very quickly, so please book yours today! You can purchase online via eventbrite and offline by sending us an email if you prefer to pay by cheque or bank transfer.
