Confidence in our countries is low. There are a number of problems facing people who are clearly on the edge of society:
Social conditions, poverty, chaotic often trauma ridden families, seek pain relief through drugs including alcohol.
People are stifled by their own lack of hope and the lack of self-belief. Many are living with accumulations of ever-present fear from the marination of inter-generational turmoil and misfortune.
Violent words and actions are the biological response to excessive fear. People who have scraped the bowl of human rights from childhood have little within to sustain conventional responses and protocols.
