The online conversation will discuss how Afro-Caribbeans can build and maintain wealth within their communities.
This discussion will be the last event of our 4-part #ICAN’TBREATHESERIES. Our first event in the series titled “We Can’t Breathe” highlighted personal experiences of individuals regarding racism and discrimination. Subsequently, in our “Driving Social Change” event, we highlighted how individuals can drive change in their community, homes, workplace and how to have a lasting impact. During our last event, we addressed the intergenerational impact of racism on mental health.
The final event will discuss the sustainable ways of building wealth in black communities.
We will be facilitating the discussion with a special guest panelist Tunji Akintokun MBE.
