Carson Cole Arthur, from Birkbeck’s School of Law, talks to us about how political campaigns, storytelling, and community care are used as methods of Black resistance. He’ll be discussing the roots of Black History Month and looking at the Windrush ‘scandal’. This lecture would interest anyone wanting to learn about how Black British activists and artists continue to expose violent political structures and reimagine freedom.
