A Leadership Development Series

There are several Black-led, Black-focused nonprofits in the Greater Durham/
Triangle region. Most of these nonprofits are underfunded and lack the
institutional support to sustainably work on behalf of the communities they serve.

There is a need to gather these community leaders to adequately assess the needs of the community
, adequately assess the needs of the organizations, support the growth and development of the leaders of these organizations
, share challenges, best methods and practices, and resources
, and explore strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts.
