Op vrijdag 13 oktober staan in het W Amsterdam Nederlandse vrouwelijke zwarte rolmodellen centraal. Het evenement is afgeleid van de Black History Month, die sinds begin jaren zeventig in de Verenigde Staten en Groot-Brittannië wordt gehouden. Een onderdeel van de Black Achievement Month is het Black Female Achievers evenement.

Vrouwelijke rolmodellen
De organisatie is trots op de meer dan 15 sprekers en artiesten die zullen spreken over de mogelijkheden en ontwikkelingen voor zwarte vrouwen binnen de wereld van ondernemerschap, onderwijs, cultuur en wetenschap. Diversiteitsexpert en consultant Astrid Elburg zal het Black Female Achievers programma modereren.
