Brent Black History Month 2017 “CELEBRATING BLACK EXCELLENCE”
Brent Council is celebrating Black History Month on 26 October 2017 from 4:30pm – 8:30pm at the Grand Hall in Brent Civic Centre.
This year’s theme is ‘Celebrating Black Excellence’ marking the 30th anniversary of Black History Month in the UK. This year will also mark 50 years since Robert Lawrence became the first Black Astronaut.
The FREE event will be open to all staff and members of the public and is an ideal opportunity to learn more about relevant services provided by Brent Council and local organisations, and to network with Brent residents, partners and colleagues.
