Beyond neo-soul: D’Angelo inspires three DJs you should be listening to.
Dego is the head of the tastemaking 2000BLACK imprint, pioneering forward-thinking soulful music across all tempos.
Making genre guidelines obsolete, Dego has influenced the evolutionary course of underground electronica and the electro soul sound.
Producer, DJ and visual artist GE-OLOGY is Baltimore born, 80s New York bred, and has an international reputation stretching back two decades.
He’s produced songs for the likes of Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, De La Soul, Yukimi Nagano and Vinia Mojica and Jem, and these days he’s known for rocking dance floors world-wide, weaving diverse genres to inspire soulful movement on the dancefloor.
Bringing warm, eclectic grooves and straight-up pumping beats, Ruby Kwasiba Savage hosts post-punk disco party In Flames and a monthly show on NTS.
Previously label manager at Brownswood Recordings, she bops in the booth of some of London’s most well respected clubs, including Oval Space, Phonox, Five Miles, The Pickle Factory, Giant Steps and The Village Underground.
In partnership with Boiler Room.
