GLOUCESTERSHIRE DIVERSE-CITY FESTIVAL 2017
Gloucestershire Diverse-City festival will make its return this November offering a packed programme with highlights from our Timeline exhibition and last year’s event.
*Exhibition is about building a memory board starting from the good old days onwards.
The City’s free event will take place on Saturday 4th November 2017, offering a huge range of fun-filled activities, Stage shows, Poetry, music, wearable art, including dance, workshops, food stalls, information stands, awareness and motivational speakers.
Meanwhile, there’s plenty of chances to get some retail therapy, refashion an item, browse around the stalls outside the Guildhall on the Eastgate Strip, live entertainment on the main stage will start 1pm offering the opportunity for families to relax and soak up the community projects and catch up and reminisce, from the Children poetry corner and wearable Art show.
Entertainment -World Jungle, among other entertainers will host a range of workshops, prints inspired by the imagination, poetry and narratives from our local poets, and play activities with everything from face painting and street dance, to Bollywood. From fundraising to motivating.
Refashion Boutique – upcycle printing and arm knitting will also be on the menu
Those in need of sustenance will be able to enjoy tasty treats during the day,
refreshments also available throughout the event.
