As we approach Black Women’s Equal Pay Day (August 13th), we want to share a few statistics and encourage you to spread some love (and knowledge) around this significant day.

Here are some stats:

– Black Women make $0.62 on every dollar a white man makes. This is a $1M gap in a lifetime

– August 13th is the date that Black American women must work into the year to earn the same salary as white men did in 2019.

– Institute for Women’s Policy Research find that, if current trends continue, Black Women will wait 108 years for equal pay.

Black womxn, you are worth every single penny- and likely more.
