The Race Equality Network and Diversity & Inclusion team at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London, is organising a seminar to mark Black History Month 2017. The seminar is aimed at all staff and students at King’s as a priority. However, external guests are also welcomed to attend.

His seminal work “When We Ruled” has been described as the most advanced synthesis on Ancient and Mediaeval African history ever written by a single author.

This seminar will give you some insight into the rich, and not widely known history of pre-colonial African civilisations and Black British History.
