Wild in the City Festival, celebrating people of colour in nature, with 3 days and 2 nights camping in a Croydon woodland with walks, talks and workshops.
Be an inspired by talks from a line up of black and Asian practitioners, walks in London’s countryside, wildlife tours, bushcraft and wild well-being workshops that connect us with the nature around us.
Set in the beautiful countryside of Croydon, with easy access from public transport, our festival will be bringing communities together around the campfire.
Small and chill, our micro festival will provide opportunities for relaxation, conversation and the enjoyment nature within this wonderful ancient oak woodland, home to badger, buzzards, kestral, deer and rabbits.
Building community of people of colour who love gathering in nature.

Getting There:
Our festival will take place in the beautiful backdrop of Croydon’s countryside, and is easily accessible by public transport. The site is a 15 minute walk through the fields from New Addington tram stop, or a 10 minute car journey from East Croydon.
