Save for Later
The PEP Network was birthed in April 2017 by our founder Jo Maxwell, and launched in June 2017 with a team of purpose driven women who share similar vision. These women stand in as the PEP Executives, helping behind scenes to drive and expand the vision. We are rapidly becoming a fast growing Black Women Network in the United Kingdom. Our network is not exclusive to black women; we are open to all women within the B.A.M.E community.
PEP Network was borne out of the need to bring together, black professional women living and working in the UK with the aim to Connect, Inspire, Aspire, Encourage and Empower one another. Our very first networking event was held on June 15th, 2017 at Amber Bar, City Point Moorgate, London. Over 120 women registered for the event which was a huge success; recording a phenomenal turnout.
Since then, we gather together (both new and existing members) every two months where we meet like-minded women, connect with potential business and career contacts, listen to motivational talks from our distinguished speakers and we also took the opportunity to make new friends. All our networking events are themed with the aim to bring out the best in today’s woman. Being conscious that every woman is on their personal and career journey, we will consider themes/topics that will be beneficial to all women, allowing for inclusiveness.
The PEP Network also prides itself as an organisation with a diverse team of executives from different career backgrounds, culture and faith who work tirelessly to drive the vision.
We are very excited for what the future holds as we continue to empower today’s woman.
Understanding that the Passionate Empowered Professional Network has a big vision to bring together every black career woman living and working in the united kingdom, there is the need to launch out to work with organisations that specifically have the interest of women from ethnic minority background at heart.
We are excited to announce our very first corporate sponsorship powered by the REACH Network; championing ethnic & cultural diversity of Lloyds Banking Group (LBG).
Lloyds Banking Group is an organisation that takes pride at investing in cultural and ethnic diversity especially for women from the Black Asian Minority Ethnic (B.A.M.E) background.
We have built an enviable reputation in the professional networking industry and will continue to strive to provide the best service we can to bring out the best in today’s woman.
We pride ourselves with a diverse group of passionate executives who come from different professional and business backgrounds with expertise in multiple areas such as corporate world, coaching & mentoring, business start-ups, finance & investment, project management, business analysts, media etc.
