As part of Black History Month, ONE ERG presents our ‘Breaking the Mould!’ event.

Black History Month is celebrated in Britain every October to promote knowledge of Black history and experience, and to circulate positive information about Black people’s contributions to society.

‘Breaking the mould’ is doing things completely differently from what has been done before or what is usually done. Having diversity in the workplace can contribute to ‘breaking the mould’, as it brings together people with different life experiences and thought processes to solve problems, both big and small.

ONE ERG will be exploring this theme during an interactive mentoring circle session involving a number of National Grid leaders from diverse backgrounds. We want to provide different insights and success stories from our leaders to motivate and inspire others. Our leaders will share how they deal with challenges and how they’ve successfully progressed in their careers.

This event is open to all, but places are limited.
