‘The Bush’ has a legendary association with Reggae past and present with characters to match and Peckings Studio One at the centre.
BassCultureUK are bringing parts of their amazing exhibition about Jamaican music in London and UK to West London’s most legendary record shop. Drop in to see pictures, posters and flyers on display AND come and share your own connection: bring a record, flyer or memory and talk about it, join the open-decks and play your favourite tune with us. Debbie Golt of Outerglobe and  Sisters of Reggae will record some chats as well for archive . A joint project by Peckings, Outerglobe, BassCultureUK.
Exhibition is open all week at Peckings Record Shop Bring a Record.
Open Decks with Debbie Golt from Outerglobe and SIsters of Reggae (https://outerglobe.co.uk) are on Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 June from 3pm until 7pm at Peckings.
In connection with this project we will also be showing the Bass Culture film and have DJs on Saturday 8 June! That event is at The Pocket Watch on Uxbridge Road and as well as the film. the Duke and Chris from Peckings will be playing alongside Sisters of Reggae – Free 7pm-1am!
