Confronting Anti-Black Racism in South Asian Communities

This workshop will be focused on solidarity, knowledge building and collective dialogue. In this workshop, facilitator Sheliza Jamal will address systemic anti-Black racism that permeates the South Asian community. Participants will identify how personal and structural biases impact the self and other communities of colour. Together we will take away tangible tools and strategies to identify, challenge and disrupt bias in personal and professional settings.
