All welcome to a free, special screening of ‘Scotland’s Hidden Shame’, https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0bqvv10 — a documentary which explores Scotland’s role in the transatlantic slave trade. You will have the chance to ask questions directly to the presenter, David Hayman, Stephen Mullen (co-author of the university’s Slavery & Abolition report and expert on Scotland’s role in Caribbean slavery) and Graham Campbell (leading activist and city councillor). The panel will be chaired by Tanya Cheadle, historian of gender & sexuality, who has a background in directing TV documentaries.
