Film event

Black Britain offers the opportunity to explore stories of migration, community and the struggle for equality – from the early 1900s to the 1980s.

This screening will be accompanied by a short introduction and document display. 

We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Friends of The National Archives on the Britain on Film series.

Please note that original documents will be on display as part of this event. Coats and bags are not be permitted in the document display and must be left in our free lockers on the ground floor. Refreshments may be taken into the events room but not the document display room.
