Please join us for a dialogue on how we can reimagine racial justice across communities of color in this moment and in the future

Historically, Black, Latino, and Asian communities have been pitted against each other. Stereotypes like the model minority myth and communities distancing themselves from the ideas of Blackness have kept people of color from marching together to demand more power.

But COVID-19 has revealed that our pain is shared. Black and Latino people are dying at higher rates due to a broken system and unjust policies, and Asian communities are experiencing a surge of anti-Asian violence.

This crisis is an opportunity to confront what is broken and build towards a future that works for all of us. Join Black, Asian, and Latino leaders to discuss what racial justice in New York City looks like in this historic moment and how we can re-imagine and rebuild a better, hopeful, and more just future.

Our speakers will include:

  • Moderator: Jennifer Ching, Executive Director of North Star Fund
  • Frankie Miranda, President of Hispanic Federation
  • Cara Page, Changing Frequencies
  • Arva Rice, President & CEO of New York Urban League
  • Jo-Ann Yoo, Executive Director of Asian American Federation
