Event: Restored Almshouse Tour
Start Date: 25 Jun 2019 12:00 pm
End Date: 26 Jun 2019 3:00 pm
Venue: Geffrye Museum
Save for Later
Visit one of the Geffrye’s 18th-century almshouses which has been fully restored to its original condition, offering a rare glimpse into the lives of London’s poor and elderly in former times. Tours are led by our knowledgeable team of volunteers.
For Friends of the Geffrye, disabled visitors (and their companion) and children under 16 tours are free.Â
Get a coffee and cake for £5 from our neighbours at the Hoxton Cabin, by showing your stamped ticket when you finish your tour.Â
6 tickets are reserved on each tour for sale on the day, so if would prefer to come and pay on the day you can. Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.Â
