Soul On The Canal Side returns to Grow in Hackney Wick for the first of a series of dates throughout the Summer with Mucho Soul and special Guest selectors! Join Ket and Al alongside Basil Black II Basics, DJ Soulprovyder and Jerry Frempong for an afternoon into evening affair of Soulful & Jazz Vibes, Afro Rhythm’s and Deep Melodic House.
Soul on the Canal Side is also part of Percolate‘s multi-venue celebration of the finest in UK club music – local culture, art, food & drink across Hackney Wick.
About Grow, Hackney
Grow is an independent bar, kitchen and creative space carved out of an old sausage factory by the River Lea in Hackney Wick. It is run as an experiment in ethical and sustainable business and works in partnership with local artists, musicians, DJ’s and community groups. Every week we host events, ranging from live jazz and blues, open deck reggae, open mic, performance art to DJ collectives and more. We offer a range of organic and craft drinks from the inside and outdoor bar and from the kitchen, Slow Fire London, serves a seasonal menu which has been freshly prepared in the canal side kitchen.
Grow exists for music, art, food, conversation, community and belonging. Everyone is welcome.
